I would like to broadcast a playlist of movies. I want that visitors watch the same movie when they connect to the webtv.
Serveur broadcasts a playlist during day and night.
Is it possible with your NGINX RTMP ?

That’s of course possible with NGINX RTMP. You need to turn on live mode with ‘live on’ and broadcast movies to the server with ffmpeg like this:
ffmpeg -i movie.avi -acodec libmp3lame -vcodec libx264 -f flv rtmp://server.com/app/name

The idea is to list movie in playlist and start the playlist

Live streaming of movie is possible with ffmpeg. Playlist is something which has nothing to do with NGINX RTMP.

I guess Kendyan can make a kind of script, remotely forcing ffmpeg to publish ordered movies stream to the same host and broadcast it during day and night.
The second way is using free software like ManyCam, which can with friendly interface emulate webcam with anything you want, including set of movies, and publish your stream to nginx-trmp-module with any flash player you wish during day and night.
